Bill Ackerman
Republican Candidate for Galloway Township Council


Deputy Mayor Bill Ackerman has been a consistent and effective leader on public safety and veteran’s issues.
He has also shown himself to understand the essence of public service by taking the time to meet with concerned residents to understand their concerns and to work to improve quality of life in the Township. Bill was voted 2007 Republican of the Year.  He has also organized a community blood drive with the Red Cross for the past two years.

Bill resides in the Cologne section of the Galloway with his wife Sherry and daughter Stephanie and son William







Keith Hartman
Republican Candidate for Galloway Township Council

Keith Hartman has lived and worked in Galloway for 15 years with his wife Gail and 3 daughters Kelsie, Brenna and Aubrey.  He is a 1989 graduate of Holy Spirit High School and an active parishioner of the Church of the Assumption in Galloway.   Keith graduated from the University of Sciences at Philadelphia, Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in 1994 and opened Medicap Pharmacy on Jimmie Leeds Road in Galloway in 1997.  Under his management the company grew to 5 locations employing over 50 people.  As the local pharmacist and business man Keith interacts with hundreds of Galloway residents who depend on his advice and care.  As a private pilot Keith is a Homeland Security First Responder, as well as flying missions for terminally ill children who can’t afford to travel to medical facilities.  In addition he volunteers with a canine rescue providing air transport and foster care.  His sense of business and community are an asset to his candidacy.

Jim Cox
Republican Candidate for Galloway Township Council

Jim Cox has been a member of the Galloway Community for the past 27 years.  His local business interest include being a partner and Broker of Record for Prudential Diversified Realty in Smithville since 1984,  he is the founding partner in Diversified Property Management in Galloway which manages day to day operations for over 7,000 residential properties in southern New jersey for homeowner/condominium associations. Jim is a graduate of Glassboro State University.  He is an active member of the Absecon Presbyterian church and has resides in Smithville with his wife of 34 years Cheryl and his niece Broghan.  When asked about his decision to run for council, Jim responded that he looked at it as an opportunity to give back to the community.  “I think Galloway has unlimited potential and I feel that my strong business and development background can be an asset to the residents of Galloway Township”.
